There is a string of numbers welded to the ramp every 5 inches with 5 inch marks in between to the top.  You drive your truck to the highest point without your tires leaving the ground.  Look at the number that goes throught the center line of you front hub.   Take that number and divide it from your wheelbase(the measurment from center hub to center of hub) and multiply by 100.  The closer to 1000 the better.  Example- my wheelbase is 102" and I can go 85" up the ramp.   85/102=.8333 * 100= 833
